I tried to draw Shade in the move style, but as he would be appear in either Sunwing or Firewing, as in looking a bit older.
I gave him a beard and longer hair to make him look grown up.  I had a sketch of him like this in another notebook and I was thinking - "wow... Shade looks hot like that..." So I made a better one I rather like this one. What do you think? Shade Silverwing (C) Kenneth Oppel |

He definitely looks older, though he seems more of a Firewing age to me. Mainly because Sunwing started about maybe three days or so? after Silverwing ended. Whereas Firewing is something like three years after Silverwing. Awesome hair
